Sorry for the late edition, I intended to update from work this morning because I was going in a little early. Only...
Our building had been struck by lighting. Everything was FRIED. This included one of the biggest and most important servers in our company. From the moment I walked in the door until just this moment I have been doing nothing but retrieving files and resetting accounts and control damage.
I am frazzled to the core, I want to go home and get under my bed and hide and never come out. never.

Date: 2006-04-22 12:00 am (UTC)I work for a Very Large Data Storage company, who has the *worst* policies ever for doing internal backups. If something like that happened here, we'd be so very screwed.
Fortunately, thunderstorms are few and far between in my corner of the world.
