Sometimes Roy waits for Al to come back then tries to take the mouse XD But mostly I think he's just lazy XD
My accent is Southern XD I have a terrible accent around my older relatives, not so much around other people. Jeri is Midwestern, she has a sort of neutral accent, but I'm the one saying: That's all the fetch yer gonna get.
So Enemy is Bostonian? We'd call her a Yankee and ask her to say 'Park the car in Harvard Yard' elevendybillion times XD
My RL best mate is from Wales (that's a lovely accent, if you've ever heard it) and when she answers the phone you can tell if it's her family on the other end because her accent Welshifies by 300%.
How embarrassing that I confused Western and Southern. Haven't I seen enough movies? I did pick up that your accent is a lot more Southern, so I suppose I get a couple of points.
hee hee I'm going to make enemy say that next time we skype. Lord only knows what she'll make me say in return. I'm guessing the entire English English scene out of Austin Powers.
My accents close to yours but sounded a bit more....northern...? Or maybe thats because I live in oklahoma and nobody can pronounced a darn word correctly. ;_; IDK.
I have a terrible habit of laying on the southern THICK when I meet strangers. It's disarming in that aww-isn't-she-just-a-harmless-sweet-southern-girl way that makes life easier. ESPECIALLY when dealing with belligerent customers who are wrong.
Most of the time I have a neutral accent.
But I'll pick up any accent in short order. It's evidently a gift of mine. You should hear the clusterfuck my accent becomes when I've been around several different languages or dialects. The sad thing is, I don't even realize I do it. At AWA, my tone gets significantly more bouncy and I use Japanese phrases without thinking about it. I'll just substitute them in like their english.
And since I'm a language freak, I regularly have that happen with several languages. -.-' So, a sentence can start out in english, transition through russian and spanish, and end with a japanese 'ne?'.
It all makes sense in my head, but I feel bad for my friends.
