When did you first discover Fullmetal Alchemist?
My GF discovered it. Then I got a New Type magazine and a big postcard fell out. I pinned it up on my cork board. I was this guy with a metal arm and a robot, pretty cool, huh? We went to buy a DVD for a Saturday night dinner for two and anime fest. I had picked up something else, but my GF saw this big stand up of the guy with the metal arm and that robot and she said: HEY, let's try this one out, it's suppose to be good.
Sunday we went back and bought the second DVD.
Are you happy you discovered FMA?
I am FMA's bitch, so it makes me very, very happy. Like crack.
Do you consider yourself a fan?
I will be the last FMA fan standing.
Do you recommend the series to other people?
All the time, I'm down right insistant about it.
Sub or dub?
Both. I love the american VAs, so I prefer the dub.
What do you think of the movie? The OVAs?
At first, I didn't like the movie to much, but then, I saw the Dub and now I like it just fine! I LOVE the OVAs ;_;
What about the manga? Do you read it?
Yes, I love the manga. I prefer it to the anime, though I love BOTH.

Ah, hmmm. I like 13 and 37 of course and I like the whole Lab 5 arch.

OMG, that one, really early, with the guy who was trying to bring back the chick who grew blue roses? That sucked.

I cried in the anime when Ed died and then at the end when after all they'd gone through, they weren't together.

Maybe I'm just being ridiculous, but this kinda scarred my childhood to a slight degree:
Yoki from FMA and The Professor (a.k.a. wanna-be magician) from Frosty the Snowman
Note the similar oval-shaped heads and the long, protruding chins. Also of honorable mention are the stringy mustaches and the beady eyes.
Actually, I see so many more similarities between their personalities than their physical characteristics, to be honest. And it's not so much that Yoki is ugly physically as he simply sends off bad vibes as an individual (annoying, as the question phrases it).
We well see how he tries to butter-up Ed and get in his good graces once it's revealed that he's a State Alchemist. Thus, Yoki's behavior in front of figures he believes can grant him monetary incentives or professional advancement shows his greediness and selfishness.
Likewise:
demonstrates, in my view, another individual cowering in front of a short man wearing red.
I wish I could have found a screencap where Yoki is hiding behind Lyra. Damn.OK. I'm done.
