Welcome to Thursday, three day weekend ahead, it's already starting to twitch.

I got invited to go skeet shooting on some hunting property, but this requires camping. The camping in a tent kind of camping. And while that was fun oh, ten or twenty years ago, if I can't take my bed with me, I ain't going. It might have been fun to shoot big guns and little round clay things, but sleeping in a sleeping bag? Forget it.

I'm to old to 'rough it'.

*laughs* I was only able to get back into camping through the miracles of plush, inflateable matresses. :) I'm not sure where that fits into "camping," but I was still in a tent, so that has to account for something, right?

(Did I mention the matress is more comfortable than my bed at home?) ;)

...Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday had lured me into a false sense of security in believing that everything was going to be nice and easy every day this week.

Thursday decided it should be nice and 'remind' me that I have a crapload of stuff to do before tomorrow due to both heading out of town and the end of the month billing.

Good news of the day..Lil's dad paid a tiny bit of child support. We shall forget for the moment he hasn't paid in over five months. I can now start looking for fall clothes for Lily.

I don't have a lawyer, I go through the Texas Attorney General because each lawyer I talked to said that it would cost me too much money to try to enforce him to pay. They keep saying that they can't imagine making a single mom pay money for something that the A.G. would do for free..

Well, the A.G. isn't doing a whole lot. My favorite part is the time they told me they didn't know where to find him and he hasn't moved in 25 or 26 years. He still lives with his parents along with his wife and new kid. =/ Eh...Some day I'll move far far away from this mess.

I wasn't aware that camping was a fun thing to do. I always thought of it as a punishment, or practice for survival in some kind of horrific Stephen King style end-of-civilized-society apocalypse.

I'm rathered inured to my current semi-modern lifestyle.

Skeet is fun...but it gets old after awhile. I prefer 5-stand.
But then again, that's just me. I have a problem with skeet anyways, I keep on stoping the gun once I pull the trigger which causes me to miss the target...you gotta keep the gun moving.
...
Anyways, Camping is fun! Expect when a bunch of raccoons figure out the zipper to your tent and get inside and wake you up in the morning. Can't you bring an air bed or do you not like those?
I never had a problem with bugs when camping...I like camping. I'm one of the freaks that would LOVE to live in a log cabin with no plumbing or electricity.
