And you know the really shitty part? hakuyama WORKS FOR THEM. I'm thinking hard about going back to Bellsouth. I really am. If you need me you can email me at work. Use art@printingtradeco.com. If you need to talk to me, you can call me at work (email me for phone number) since Comcast is telling us they can't come out until NEXT WEDNESDAY, thus we are without a phone. So they screw us over and then make us wait a week. Nice, really nice.

It took two weeks to get phone service in my first apartment. It was an APARTMENT and I assume it was already wired up, but nonetheless it took 14 days to get that switch flipped.

I don't know why these companies do this, except that they have little or no competition, so they can.

You know what my mother does when someone says they are going to take a long time (or just to get a little money shaved off something) she makes them something like cookies, bake ziti, bananana bread, her famous (at least to the people who have tried them) chicken enchalidas, or whatever is laying around. You know what happens after that the money you would have to pay for labor for the car is taken off the bill, we get a free week on whatever we are renting, or the move their butts just to please her. SO what I'm trying to say is that you should go down to the office (when you have time) and bring something with you and see how fast they get out there and set up your internet and phone. Hey it ALWAYS works for her. OH! and don't forget to flirt a little no matter what they look like that always helps. ^_^

You know what's weird? I get really good service from them here in Chicago. Like same-day service calls and no hold times when I call tech support. I just don't get why it would vary so much.
