Me: *points at dog* I just spent 170.00 I don't have because you're chewing yourself to pieces!

Miche: *lying on floor, slightly puzzled look, wag*

Me: What possessed me to want a damn dog in the first place?

Miche: *gets up, comes and lays on my feet, yawns because vet drugged her to the gills, wags*

Me: yeah I thought so *sigh*

Prognosis: Miche has Allergies. (I knew that.) She does NOT have mange (either kind), she DOES have a horrendous yeast infection in her ears... from allergies. She got a mega-cortisone shot. And if she isn't better in two weeks she goes back to be put on pills. In the mean time she should get probably two oatmeal baths a week and her twice daily Benedryl and her twice a day ear drops.

Things you may not know: Miche is a 70 lb white German Shepard that lives in an Atlanta apartment and rarely goes outside because of her Allergies.

Thing I didn't realize: Dog's have anal scent glands and can smell as bad as a skunk when discharged.

Poor Miche! I hope the shots work. Do you think her skin is more sensitive because she's a white pup?

nah, it's just worst this year than most. She always has allergies, she always takes benadryl, she always gets oatmeal baths, she always gets Pet Aid sprayed all over her (she hates that) just his year it got really bad. @_@
