Thanks for the update, sky_dark...I've passing around the link to "Roy Mustang: SET" (and it's been receiving unanimous raves, even from the folks who claim to dislike yaoi). I've also been getting anxious inquiries from friends on the progress of BLTA, since most of them have a strict policy of only reading finished works as a way of avoiding disappointment.
Sadly, day jobs suck up so much writing time...I work a tech writing manager for a large software company, so by the time I get home from work, have dinner, and perform necessary household chores, it's about 9pm and my brain is desperately tired from dealing with various crises while trying to craft clear conscise documentation. The Muse just wants a stiff drink and a nap at that point, and isn't too happy about being kicked off the couch and forced to provide the next scene for a fiction work-in-progress.
So, as you can probably guess, my writing output has decreased since I graduated from uni. A lot. These days I'm lucky if I manage to produce a chapter a week, and it's always frustrating to have the Muse speak to you on the drive to work in the mornings, and realizing that you're going to have to remember that wonderful line of dialogue until lunch break rolls around...
Anyhow, gambatte! and I look forward to seeing the next chapter of BLTA whenever it wants to be written.
day jobs ::sigh::
