yeah ok so we're like outside on the porch right? Me and
hakuyama, and we're sitting at the table and we're talking and the cats and the dog are out there too, ok? The light in the living room comes on all by itself. It's a big, overhanging floor lamp with a marble base. You have to turn it on by flipping a switch on the wall. It comes on all by itself.
It goes off all by itself.
So we sit there, frozen for a few moments, we send in the dog (a large german shepard), and we sit there some more because she will bark like hell if someone is there, but no one is there.

Date: 2003-09-08 07:25 am (UTC)But seriously. It was probably something like a power surge. It wouldn't be a shock to me to find substandard wiring in that place, considering how obnoxious they are about fixing ANYTHING for you guys.
I forgot how that works, but I KNOW I have seen that happen, where instead of tripping the circut breaker, it bleeds through to the lighting.
Or you might just have freakin' ghosts. I just read some nice spooky ghost accounts from Cape Cod...
