Randomly Working Sporatic Internet
Sep. 5th, 2010 07:56 amComcast sucks. Here is why:
-Thursday my internet goes out in the moring. By thursday afternoon, after work, it still has not come back on. I call Comcast Customer Service and schedule an appointment for Saturday, between 11am and 2pm.
-Important fact to know about Suck-Ass Comcast Customer Service. If you do NOT answer the phone when they call to say they are coming out, they won't come out.
-Rearrange schedule to be at home between 11am to 2pm on Saturday. At 2:15 pm I call to ask why no one has called me/shown up. I speak to Alonzo who tells me that while he sees my request, he does not see a scheduled time/date for our service call. I tell him that is an error, they yes I have an appointment. Please send someone ASAP. He says he's written it up and submitted it to whoever and that someone will call me in an hour. It is now 2:30.
-At 3:30 no one has called me, so I call back and I speak to Nicky. I tell Nicky the entire story top to bottom and Nicky says that, no, it's suppose to be 2 to 3 hours before someone calls back, but someone should call me back in an hour.
-At 4:30 no on has called me, so I call back and speak to a woman who puts me on hold and I get cut off. So I call back again and speak to Denisha, who I tell the entire story to and she pretty much says, well, it's just what everyone else said. I say: "Let me speak to a supervisor", she says ok, but he will tell you the same thing. In the meantime, when I call in, the AUTOMATED SYSTEM say my appointment is for Sunday, between 2 pm and 5 pm. No one has called me to schedule this or ask if this was ok. The supervisor is a dick, who pretty much gives me excuses and says 'Oh, you're a comcast employee, you're suppose to handle all your trouble requests through a supervisor.' THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT. Jeri, my spouse, has been an employee of comcast since they bought her company a few years ago. She says they have never ONCE told anyone to come to any supervisor with a HOME ISSUE. I tell him this and tell that I am not looking for special treatment, I call in like everyone else. He gives me more run around and tells me that local dispatch will call me to let me know if they can come out today. This is 4:45 pm.
-At 7:30 pm Comcast finally decides to call to tell me too bad, so sad, you're appointment is tomorrow and we aren't changing it.
Comcast has kept me off the next and trapped by my phone and at home all Saturday long. Now they are fucking up Sunday afternoon plans.
This morning, out of the blue, my interenet started to work.
Am I going to make Comcast come out here anyways?
Oh yes, yes I am.
And I want to get the phone call about the survery, because I really, really, want to take it.
