AWA 12 - Mini Report

We have a table at AWA this year. It's GREAT! I'll do this every freakin' year. It's so nice to have a place to just sit and chill and watch con-life walk by.

A True Story (I have witnesses)

I was sitting at the table trying not to look like I was selling yaoi to minors. This guy is walking by, he stops and comes over to my table, he stands there looking at it. I should have recognized these dead giveaways. He was wearing dark shades, he had on a bikers helmet and had what looked like fake hair. Here is the exchange.

Guy: What's all this stuff?
Sky: It's our circle, Somewhere Nowhere. We do prints and doujinshi and fanzines.
Guy: *browses stuff a moment, then says* Hey, you know what brought me over here?
Sky: No, what?
Guy: Those starbursts candies.
Sky: *has a bowl of candy on the table* Help yourself, you can have some.
Guy: No, it's ok, I'd feel I'd have to buy something from you.
Sky: Nono little boy, have some candy *letcher voice, waves starbursts at him*
Guy: *big grin!* Thanks! *takes starbursts, departs*

A little bit later....

inugrlrayn: LOOK! We were out there and ran into Travis and Vic! LOOK! *shows me pics on digital camera*
Sky: ....who is that?
inugrlrayn: That's Travis!
Sky: .... HEY, that was that guy at the table, the one in the dark shades!
hakuyama: What, how can you tell?
Sky: He had on that shirt!

At this point, I'm still not positive.

Later that evening at the MSA (Mini Skirt Army) Dinner at Jack and Jills:

Travis: *making the rounds of all the tables, comes to stand by our table*
Sky: I have a very odd question, do starbursts attract you?
Travis: *big grin! * Yeah
Sky: I thought your hair looked fake!
Travis: Man, that was so funny when you said: Hey little boy, want some candy?

HOW FUCKIN' COOL IS TRAVIS WILLINGHAM?! TOO FUCKIN' COOL XD
