Real Life

It's thursday.

So, I'm the only woman in my company. All the men (with the exception of 2) are leaving tomorrow to go to the boss' house in florida to go fishing. There will be no production crew, the plant will be closed down half a day tomorrow and all day friday. Tomorrow I have no problem with working my entire shift, even if all the guys are going to florida, right? But Friday, there will be no production floor, no work flow...nothing.. the graphics guy, while not going fishing, is taking the day off.

Boss: So when you get here friday...blah blah...answer the phones....
Me: Excuse me?
Boss: Friday
Me: While you are fishing?
Boss: ....
Me: You really planned on me coming in and working ALONE? While you are fishing?

*me shakes head*

Needless to say, I have Friday off.
