found an auction page for this item...but i'm not sure if it's for the actual clock or not. it just shows a picture of the magazine page and then some sort of order form?? maybe this is a special promotional item that you have to send away for.

i think so - just tell them the auction number and they can tell you what it is/how much/and then bid on it for you. i'm pretty sure all you have to do is tell them your price limit and they do all the heavy lifting.

if you want it - better hurry. auction ends in 17 hours (i think)

just make sure it's what you want - if it's a promotional mail in item then it may not matter if you win the auction because then there would be no way to get the clock - if it's shipped to Japan only from the promotional company.

either way - wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on yahoo!japan auctions.

this site also does bidding for you on yahoo!Japan auctions but in addition they also have a personal import service. according to the site - they will track down items for you at shops, etc. and send them to you. this includes special and promotional items! i'm sure if you send them the picture of the magazine page, they can find it and order it for you.

Hi sky! I have a friend that frequents Japan and he has yet to see it but he will be going back out in February! He said if he can locate it as it won't be available till January 11, 2007 and he will check with his Japanese contacts as well. I will keep you posted as he keeps me informed.

Yeah, it's a mail-in deal - the December and Jan. issues of Gan Gan come with this lil form you have to fill out and mail in. (The Yahoo JP auction is some enterprising person auctioning said form.) Deadline = 1/11/2007 for the offer.
