Tuesday held my internet connection hostage for a couple of hours, thus preventing a) important department emails being sent and b) bob_fish pissing about looking at Japanese fanart and watching D.Gray-man when she should be working.
... Lol. I got excited when I saw enemytosleep had posted a DGM fic (which I still haven't read, pah, RL, pah exams, pah on youuuu real-things) - I crackle gleefully at my tiny fandom living just a bit, bit by bit. Lavi is awesome <3
I'm a university lecturer, so I can work from home some days - and even in university I'm usually working off my laptop so plenty of freedom. Better than this, I occasionally get to TEACH anime. Next term I've set Ghost in the Shell and Akira.
And thrillers, and horror movies! This particular course is a fun one. Akira blows their young minds. Last year I taught Paprika too and it confused the hell out of them. There are always a few anime fans on the course, but so far no one's into FMA - lots of love for Evangelion (angsty teens - of course!) and Ghost In the Shell: SAC and Naruto (which has kind of passed me by). I think I'm kind of grateful - anyone who knew me and followed my lj would realise it was me, and I'm not sure I want them finding the porn ... XD
