Taggage

Haven't done one in a while.

Tagged by [livejournal.com profile] noob_alchemist

Explain your LiveJournal name and its meaning. When you're done, tag as many people as there are letters in your name.

...was first a Dungeons & Dragons character who developed into an online RPG character complete with twin brother. Elves, they were elves. Sue me.

Simple really, it's the same as my AIM/AOL user name. Catie Storm, my nom-de-plume, and original self-insert MS DC comics character.

Heh. To be honest, back when Brad (from my MSN chat room days) introduced me to LJ..I didn't have a clue what to use. My screen name was always Tiger Lily, Liliana, or TL for short. Couldn't get any of those names without a ton of numbers behind them.

So..one day we were all goofing off in the chat rooms and that's when they had Mr. T on commercials. I kept going "I pity da fool" who don't whatever. We would laugh, I changed my name to Mr. TL. (Omg..I remember the days you could change your name in chat sessions on msn.)

So after staring at the screen where I had to pick a user name, I finally decided I would try as a joke. With the 00 because Brad loved using n00b..and all that other wonderful stuff. And it worked. >.> (Of course, the first one that started using LJ was the first one to abandon it. I did also for a year or so before picking it back up.)

And I'm not tagging because that's almost my whole f-list. O_O

Just...don't ask where the hotmail account came from. -_-;; It seems to be the only one that everyone actually remembers from the old days. (It's sad that I consider the late '90s the old days.)

I've done this one, but I'll tell you here anyhow.

I love a british television show called: Red Dwarf

Fans are often called Dwarfers...or smeg-heads...so I went with Reddwarfer.

And my "name" is "A.J. Rimmer, Space Adventurer.
is a nod to the show. A character called Arnold Judas Rimmer...he's a complete git. The exact quote is from an episode called: "Krtyen" in which they are supposed to "rescue" some women from a broken ship.

Rimmer: We'll rescue these fair blooms, or my name's not "A. J. Rimmer, Space Adventurer.

---
Lister: Space Adventuer?

Rimmer: What was I supposed to say: Fear Not! We're the blokes who used to clean the gunk out of the chicken soup machines. We know sod all about space, but if you got a blocked nozzle, we're your lads!" That'd fill them with confidence.

Ain't nowt wrong with elves. XD One of my persona characters is an elf. The other is a dog boy called Thorn. The LJ name Thorn was taken, as were Toge and Ira, both ways of saying Thorn in Japanese. I just stuck em together.

(Is it sad that when I got tagged I felt really excited? XD; )

Heh... Makes more sense than mine -- which my random brain supplied when I was sitting at the keyboard, trying to set up an account with ff.net. Considering how completely random my brain can get, I suppose I'm lucky not to be named her_apperatif or something similarly non sequetorish.

It sorta comes from Velvet Hammer, which is an autobody shop I pass by when driving back from Mt. Scott Community Center's indoor pool. I changed the last name to mace to make it, er, more archaic?
