She sprays with a plastic primer then hand mixes acrylics to make the flesh tone she wants. She has a hand held Ryobi mini-sander with an ultra fine sand paper grade. =)

Ooooh. I'd been experimenting with acrylics, but couldn't get the sheen I was looking for. >.> And then I found out that they make both opaque and gloss acrylics. Silly me. ^^;

She hand paints them. The finish she uses on her dolls is a matte finish.
